A burst pipe under a home doesn't give you much warning. One minute everything seems fine - the next, water is streaming through insulation, soaking into subfloor wood, and creeping toward areas you can't even see without a flashlight and a crawl space inspection. That's exactly what we were dealing with in the Old Village neighborhood of Mt. Pleasant.

Here's the thing about crawl space leaks that most homeowners don't realize: the damage spreads fast and quietly. Water saturates insulation, which then holds moisture against your floor joists and subfloor for days - or longer. That kind of prolonged exposure is what leads to rot, mold growth, and structural issues that cost a whole lot more to fix than the original leak would have.

We got out there quickly, located the source, and started the cleanup process. Speed matters in water damage restoration. The faster you stop the water and start drying things out, the less secondary damage you're dealing with down the road. Our leak detection process lets us pinpoint exactly where the problem is coming from so nothing gets missed and we're not tearing out material that didn't need to come out.

If something feels off in your home - a soft spot in the floor, a musty smell, an unusually high water bill - it's worth getting someone out to take a look. These things rarely fix themselves, and waiting almost always makes it worse.
